Whether it’s a regular Saturday date night for you living in Paris or you’re coming to Paris for a special occasion, you’re going to want to treat yourself to a fancy dinner in the city. Aside from the obvious restaurants (yes, there are two!) in the Eiffel Tower, here’s our compilation of the best restaurants in the city for great food and a trendy atmosphere.

La Tour d’Argent

The one star Michelin La Tour d’Argent will set you back a few bucks but it’s worth it for the view alone! This restaurant was the inspiration behind the restaurant in family favorite film Ratatouille, Gusteau’s and we can see exactly why. Your experience begins as you walk through the door on the ground floor, where coats and jackets are guarded and you are asked to take the elevator to the top floor. As soon as the elevator doors ping open, you are greeted by your team of servers who will be guiding you through your dinner service. Famous for their caneton (duck breast) the circular dinning room allows for breath taking views of Notre Dame and further a field. Don’t be afraid to splash out for one of their elusive and rare wines from their expansive cave, you won’t be disappointed!

Neige d’Eté

Featured in the Michelin guide for 2017, you know a restaurant has got something exclusive when they don’t put out a shop front sign! Easily missed, Neige d’Eté is tucked away in the residential area of the 15th Arrondissement and is an absolute must visit. Japanese/French fusion food is available à la carte or through the extraordinary tasting menu. Modest in pricing depending on what you order, your experience in this small boutique style restaurant will be one of a kind. With an almost fully exposed kitchen, watch the chefs at work as they prepare their sumptuous meals with flair and elegance.

 Bar à Huitres

Do you like a little high tech with your swanky meal? Look no further than Bar à Huitres! With a few locations across the city, our personal favorite is the one at Saint Germain des Près. You know you’re in for an unusual yet sophisticated evening when your menu is an actual Ipad! Swipe across the menu and browse through their vast selection of seafood as well as fish dishes and a few meat options for those who aren’t too keen on fruits de mer.
