The International Contemporary Art Fair, better known by its abbreviation as FIAC (the French love their abbreviations) is back this year from October 18th through the 22nd, and with over 1,500 artists showing their work for over 70,000 people, you, dear reader, can surely find at least one reason to visit.

Reclaiming the spaces normally taken over by the bizarrely dressed people on the sidewalks hunting for photos or selfies with ridiculously beautiful people, the Grand Palais, Petit Palais, and the Tuileries Garden will be just a few of the over twenty spaces taking part of FIAC this year.

For those of you who don’t want to pay a full 37 euros for entry into the fair, socialist France is here for the rescue as
access to the fair held at the Petit Palais will be free. Expect to walk through gardens full of art and be briefly transported to a whole new world, like a modern Disney princess.
